Singing Lessons in East London Studio
Sessions are held in a purpose built recording studio in the heart of London Fields, in a community music studio recording complex. The studio is fully soundproofed with optimised acoustics, and a world class signal chain for recording vocals permanently setup.
The studio is beautifully designed with a very comfortable, and vibey Scandinavian aesthetic. There is a guitar & keyboard available for live music making, free tea & coffee, and a sofa for kicking back on.

“I consider the studio where I was born” Jimmy Lovine

“Somehow, magically, I’ve become an electronic musician, and I have a recording studio that looks like the bridge of the Enterprise.” Moby

Nearby
Nearby, just along the Hackney Road, is the famous Premises Studios, where the Singing Wizard first began teaching in the adjacent studio complex. Regularly hosting and recording some of the most famous artists in the world, it’s attached Premises Cafe is still a great place to hang out for coffee or Turkish Food if you have the time. Check out the all the signed photographs on the wall and maybe spot someone famous hanging out with you!
Brick Lane is also close by, home to Rough Trade East, the eminent record label store, a great place to watch some of the label acts perform live in the store, and meet them afterwards for signed copies of Vinyls. You can see what’s coming up here- maybe pop along for some inspiration before or after your singing lesson?

“I wanted to go back to writing for myself and my fans. I built my own recording studio, started my own label, and decided to use the Internet to sell my records.” Linda Perry

“I bought a Dutch barge and turned it into a recording studio. My plan was to go to Paris and record rolling down the Seine.” Pete Townsend

Ian is nurturing and gentle and worked patiently to coax me into finding my voice and present it confidently to the world. This is a gift beyond measure.

Ian's vocal lessons are my 'secret sauce'. He is generous with his time and has a real expertise about the voice. Great guy, would recommend heartily.

Ian changed the game for me. Turned each breath into a gale. Continues to open my eyes on recording and performance. Good medicine. Better than therapy.
